I explored the relationship between brands and logos in terms of social acceptance. A simple design mark can either open doors or invite ridicule. Using a basic pill as a representation of a physical consumable, adding logos turns it into a branded consumable. By asking viewers why they are drawn to certain brands, we can understand what those brands say about themselves and others.

I created 270 portable "consumable cubes" by taking over 700 photos of pills, while spending countless hours photoshopping. in addition, 810 AAA batteries and 270 LEDs were used for illumination all encased in 4”x4” lucite polymer cube. The photos below were taken during a press event before the main thesis exhibition, as well as home photos taken during my grid layout planning stage.
